Format page

The Format page allows you to customize settings related to the formats of date, time and line numbers.

Date

Allows you to customize the date format to use when you use Date and Time command or Time and Date command. If the Use System Format check box is set, the date format specified in the Control Panel will be used.

Time

Allows you to customize the time format to use when you use Date and Time command or Time and Date command. If the Use System Format check box is set, the time format specified in the Control Panel will be used.

Line Number (Decimal)

Allows you to customize the format of line numbers in the decimal number system. You can choose how to group numbers with many digits as well as specify a delimiter used to divide numbers in the Digit Group Separator text box. You can use the Space Width slider to adjust the width of space.

Line Number (Hexadecimal)

Allows you to customize the format of line numbers in the hexadecimal number system. You can choose how to group numbers with many digits as well as specify a delimiter used to divide numbers in the Digit Group Separator text box. Hexadecimal line numbers are used when Binary (Hexadecimal View) is selected as Encoding when opening a file. You can use the Space Width slider to adjust the width of space.

Binary (Hexadecimal View) drop-down list box

Allows you to select a format to display for Binary (Hexadecimal View) files.

Custom text box

Allows you to specify an arbitrary number for bytes per line when you select Custom from the Binary (Hexadecimal View) drop-down list box.

Reset button

Resets to default settings.
