Marks page¶

The Marks page allows you to set properties related to marks.

Show newline characters checkbox¶

Check to display newline characters in documents.

Check to display the end of file mark in documents.

Check to display tab marks in documents.

Shows single byte character space marks in the text.

Check to display double byte character space marks in documents.

Check to use different marks to distinguish CR from LF.

Shows control character marks in the text.

Shows indent guides.

Shows user-defined guides.

Specifies the column positions of user-defined guides. Multiple positions can be separated by commas (,).

Highlights the lines that have been changed/saved on the left edge of EmEditor windows.

Resets to default settings. The Reset dialog box will be displayed and will allow you to copy from another configuration.
